Self Healing to Help Relieve Stress due to Menstruation, How to Do It?

Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist, Dr. Bram Pradipta Sp.OG from Gading Pluit Hospital, stated that under stress conditions, the production of hormones in the body is disrupted, including hormones that play a role in the menstrual process.

"So it is very possible that when you are under stress, your menstrual pattern will be disturbed," he wrote, quoted from ANTARA, Tuesday (12/4/2022).

Bram explained, these disorders can be overcome by self-healing, namely taking time for me time, avoiding foods that trigger inflammation such as dairy, caffeine, red meat and alcohol.

You can also do light exercise to prevent stress, bloating and reduce abdominal pain.

No less important, you need to maintain the cleanliness of the feminine area during menstruation by regularly changing sanitary napkins every three hours, choosing sanitary napkins that are safe for the skin and contain extracts of natural ingredients such as betel leaf which are able to inhibit the growth of bacteria so that they are not easily damp and smelly.

At the "Healing in Natural Cool Wonderland" event held at Chakra Hall & Lounge BSD, Softex invited hundreds of millennial women to heal for a while after undergoing a hectic activity.
